Chris Ackerman has been in the Marketing and Graphic Design industry for over 30 years here in the High Desert, and for the past six years as the Sr. Marketing Manager and PIO for Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA).  On many weekends, he enjoys an 18-year career as a professional sports announcer, public speaker, and emcee.

Chris is a failed “Recovering Metalhead,” and that is where his Ignite story tonight begins.  This is not a presentation of “Look how awesome I am”; it is the story of redemption for someone who did not deserve it.  The overall message is to be encouraged and have a sense of hope, as you never know what is waiting for you around the corner, if your heart is ready to receive it.
