David Penn retired after 46 years of full-time ministry in the Church of the Nazarene.  His last 27 years of ministry were as the pastor of the Hesperia Church of the Nazarene on Maple Avenue.  Ruth Penn has been his partner in ministry.  They celebrate 57 years of marriage and have three children, Lisa, Cristy, and David, along with five grandchildren.  He now serves as pastor to Main Street Hesperia, as well as helping to support the community.

Providence is God’s intervention on our behalf when we are completely oblivious to his grace and mercy.  In each of our lives, we can look back and see ways God has provided for our well-being.  Every good and perfect gift comes from Him, James 1:17.
