Rev. Dr. Yolanda “Dr. Yo” Roberts is a dynamic preacher, teacher, and executive with over 30 years of experience in leadership, ministry, and community empowerment. Her career began in public education, where she served 28 years as an Administrative Assistant, honing her organizational and leadership skills. In 2006, she answered her call to ministry as an Associate Pastor, passionately preaching and teaching God’s Word with a heart for empowering women and young girls. Since 2018, she has also served as an instructor at the Biblical Studies Prayer Institute.
In 2023, Dr. Yo became Executive Director of Victor Valley Domestic Violence, Inc. (A Better Way), leading advocacy efforts to support survivors and build safer communities. She is active in numerous organizations, including Zeta Phi Beta, NAACP, and the Homelessness Solutions Taskforce. With advanced degrees in business and ministry, including a Doctorate in Ministry, Dr. Yo remains a devoted leader, committed to restoration, growth, and service.
