Dr. Kristi Mendoza, Au.D. is an Audiologist who practices in the High Desert at Optimum Audiology.  Dr. Mendoza believes in collaboration in both local and global audiology.  She has served on several Boards, including the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce, Entheos, and the California Academy of Audiology.  Her career is marked by giving back to her community, mentoring, teaching, serving the underserved, and creating job opportunities and growth mindset to those she encounters.

This talk, Humanitarian Audiology Missions- Mamá, was inspired by her global and local journey to bring better hearing healthcare to everyone.  She partners with like-minded Audiologists to bring hearing to those who would otherwise not have access to hearing aid technology.  She has found that it takes business partners, employees, volunteers, and local individuals to work together to a common goal of improved hearing.  She hopes you enjoy a humanitarian perspective of hearing and hearing loss.
