Terry L. Saenz has been involved in Ignite High Desert for nine years going from speaker at the first Ignite event to speaker mentor to Ignite chair.  She’s worked in print and broadcast journalism and public and community relations for over ten years in the animal welfare industry, including fostering over thirty dogs.  She enjoys reading, writing, singing, and speaking.  Terry is married to Steven, has two children, Jason and AutumnRose, four grandchildren, and two doggies – Grace, a terrier, and Hope, a husky/shepherd.

She and Steven married at a young age under difficult circumstances.  Terry will share their marital journey from talk of divorce to the event that changed everything, along with imparting some wisdom that will benefit all couples.  “Married Since Birth” is a story of love, perseverance, and romance.
