Ignite High Desert spotlights the area’s most influential and dynamic individuals, including movers, shakers, creators, thinkers, innovators, doers, and dreamers, in an energized setting meant to motivate.
Since being introduced to the High Desert in 2015, Ignite has provided an outlet for people who want to share a burning passion, unique perspective or outrageous solution in a fast-paced evening of discovery. Speakers distill their ideas into 5 minutes and 20 slides, which auto-advance every 15 seconds.
Hosted by the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce, other elements of this fun evening include music, sponsor booths, food sampling from local vendors and “Ignite Karaoke” where audience members have an opportunity to deliver an impromptu narration to 8 slides they’ve never seen before!
We believe that public speaking builds confidence in individuals and that events like Ignite build community. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to learn to present their ideas and their stories.

The Ignite High Desert event and audience is a reflection of our vibrant community. This event allows you
to experience talks that educate, inspire, motivate, and entertain. You’ll be introduced to new ideas and
perspectives, all presented by members of the High Desert community. The audience is diverse, but share
a common love for community, innovation and ideas.
To allow for companies of all sizes to contribute to Ignite High Desert events, there are different sponsorship levels.
Within each level, there is an opportunity to sponsor with a cash donation or through in-kind support. Sponsorship
is so much more than just a donation, Ignite High Desert offers fantastic perks to sponsors at every level.
